Faulkner "A Rose for Emily"
Order Description
Assignment:
Choose one of the stories we have read (by the author you like) and find another story or two by him or her. We will then find some research about the author, the themes he or she likes to write about, and his or her writing style. We will use the MLA style of documentation for our research and quotations.
Stories to choose from:
Faulkner "a rose for emily"
Oates "Where are you going, where have you been?"
Marquez "A very old man with enormous wings"
o'connor "a good man is hard to find"
o'brien "The things they carried"
Research process:
Find one or two stories by your author.
At a CUNY or public library, find and check out a biography of the author
Find two articles that focus on the writer or the stories you read on the library database Jstor.
-I want more than 5 sources in my research paper, 2 articles about Faulkner, and 1 biography of the author, and other 2 of ramdomly sources.
- Work site page is not count for 5 pages.But I still need that page.
