1. Reflect on and describe the enjoyable and not so enjoyable aspects of your community service experience. Some specific questions you may want to address include the following: (a) What about this organization and what qualities about yourself made you choose this site? (b) What aspects of your work did you particularly enjoy, and/or find problematic (for e.g., personnel issues, effective and/or ineffective treatment of clients, working as part of a team, supervision)? (c) Are there any specific experiences that have made you eager and/or hesitant to continue in the field (for e.g., work with particular clients, team members, or supervisors)? (d) Is there anything you wish you had known before choosing this placement? (e) If there are problem areas, what do you think could or should be done to make the services offered more useful and helpful? If you are not yet certain how you feel, or have mixed feelings, it is reasonable to write about this in the paper, too.
Identify a specific topic of interest you have developed from your community service that you wish to research in some detail. You must cite at least four sources in your paper for full credit.
