Creative Methodology Exercise

Creative Methodology Exercise

Order Description
ASSESSMENT #3 Creative Methodology Exercise (20%) (1500 words)

For this assessment task students will work directly with the core text
‘The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian’ by Sherman Alexis.

You must undertake an analysis of the book and reflect on how this type of literature or presentation of information might begin to shed light on social realities and how it might be considered a form of ethnography or graphic and qualitative insight into social lives that might begin to help the social researcher or anthropologist. By engaging with the literature on methodology, creative methodologies, narrative styles, reflexivity, and auto-ethnography you should write up a reflective assessment of Alexis’ work. This written submission will require use of appropriate academic language and literature, which will mean including in text citations.
