Immigration and Ethnicity in American History Type of paper: Oral Interview

The paper must be around 9 pages. (8 to 10) (this does not include images, title pages, bibliographies, etc.)
This paper will include a historical section in which you discuss how 2 to 3 scholarly history articles or monographs (not a textbook) treat your topic.
The remainder of the paper will develop a historical argument and narrative out of primary-source research.

Oral Interview:

Be sure that your selected person of interest feels comfortable during the interview. Be good a listener. Ask open ended questions that will be answered more than a "Yes or No."

Example questions:
Please tell me about your journey to the United States.
When did you come to America?
Did you encounter any difficulties?
Is there something special about your journey that you would like to share?
Where did you first live when you arrived to the U.S?
Where did you settle? Why did you choose that location?
Describe your interactions with the people you met upon your arrival in the U.S.

Keep in mind while doing this interview that this paper is about "immigration and Ethnicity in American History". How does your interview relate to that? What scholarly history articles and monographs are significant to your interviewee's stories?

MY NOTE TO WRITER:
This interview can be fictional, but it must sound realistic and not detailed to the point where it is obvious the interview is made up. Be natural. There is not really any instructions on how to convert an interview to paper, but do what works best for you. I have no sources for this paper as it can vary depending on the interviewee's background. Make sure the history used when writing this essay has reputable sources and are major events during immigration to and historically in the U.S. Also, try to keep the date of immigration to the 60's. Thank you very much.
