Personal Budget

Each one of us can benefit from putting together a personal budget on a monthly basis, and trying to stick to it in order to meet whatever financial objectives you set out for yourself.

 

Usethe excel file—Fill out the budget to the best of your ability—you can use “fake” numbers but go through the budget as detailed as possible. After creating your budget, answer the following questions:

 

  1. What were the most difficult and easiest aspects of putting together this budget?


 

  1. What did you learn about yourself after completing your budget?


 

  1. How useful do you believe a budget would be in your personal finances?


 

  1. What are the advantages and disadvantages to having to abide by a strict budget?
